Handprinted lino reduction made with pearlescent pigments print on recycled paper
'You Are My Universe 1' is a single block linocut print, hand printed in London UK. The galaxies are made using iridescent pigment powders so each one is completely unique.
The print is a limited edition of 5 and each galaxy effect will be unique and cannot be recreated.
Each print has been editioned and signed.
Paper size: 210mm x 150mm
Image size: 90cm x 140cm
All prints are hand burnished using a printing press, wooden baren and spoon. I use water based inks for their sustainable qualities and vibrant colour.
It is printed onto a beautiful Fabriano 200gsm recycled paper which has a light, white and slightly deckled finish.
Please note the pictures are to illustrate design and colour. Due to the nature of the printing process, all prints have slight variations in depth of colour and placement. Each artwork is printed by hand so each one is unique.
